Question
Are Healing faith and Saving faith are same or different type?
Hi Nihal,
Thank you for this great question. Healing and Saving faith are different. One can trust God to heal their body, but still believe that they can earn their way into heaven through good works, thus trusting in themselves for salvation, while knowing about and even believing in Christ... just not TRUSTING HIM for salvation. It is faith in Jesus alone for salvation that will save you.
Hebrews 6:1 (AV)
... not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Ephesians 2:8–9 (AV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
