Bible Studies/Devil in Heaven

Questioni was reading to my family from Exodus 33 about God hiding Moses in the rock and passing by as no one could look directly at God's face and live. We started a conversation about heavan and perfection of God and that nothing evil could be present. My daughter asked, " how then does the devil present himself before God, like in the beginning of Job?" I have some ideas but was confused by the question. Just looking for some insight. Thank you, In Christ!
AnswerYou have presented a good question. One that may not be totally answered while we're here on earth.
Your daughter seems to be very sharp in her thinking. That's good.
We know there's a difference between Satan, who is an angel of light, and humans. Whether God sees things different, as far as sin, we don't know. Probably not.
Because Satan was in God's presence-it may not have been His full presence. (technicality)
Satan was cast down from heaven, we know, for wanting to be like God.
This meeting with God in heaven may have been when he was cast down.
In Isaiah 6, Isaiah saw the Lord sitting on the throne, etc.
Satan is judged to eternal hell. He's out on bond right now, in a way.
Humans like Moses, may have died physically if they looked at God's glory, but likely their spirit would have gone to be with Him.
I've probably not cleared the water with this answer, but it's always good to stimulate our Spiritual minds.
Be glad to hear what ideas you have on this matter.
Keep your daughter inquiring!
Your friend.
