Bible Studies/Prophecy

Question
Dennis
I have believed in prophecy and the 'end times' since the 70's, but  got disenchanted with those who make a living by saying the world is about to end.
Recent world events have got me thinking however.
The financial collapse, the huge debt, and now problems in Greece and Europe have got me thinking about passages in the bible that refer to the anti-christ rising up and restoring order to the world.
Could we be on the brink of this?
Also the recent volcanoes and earthquakes add to this.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Answer
It's not the physical events we see on the surface of scripture that should worry us.  If we really want to know what Revelation is telling us, we need to look deeper, into the spiritual.  Read Revelation with the idea of looking for details about the financial problems the world will face and you will begin to realize how much others have missed.

Remember, the Pharisees interpreted the first coming of Jesus looking only at the physical details of the prophecies.

Education/Credentials
There are no educational credentials in the field of Biblical word studies. It is a simple five step process. Pray for guidance. Identify a text that may have a physical and spiritual meaning. Identify the key words. Look the key words up in a concordance and read the text to obtain the spiritual meaning. Substitute the spiritual meaning into the original text.

I am not aware of anyone handing out awards for Bible studies but there are a number of religious leaders that have used my studiess.
