I have believed in prophecy and the 'end times' since the 70's, but  got disenchanted with those who make a living by saying the world is about to end. We are still here...
Recent world events have got me thinking however.
The financial collapse, the huge debt, and now problems in Greece and Europe have got me thinking about passages in the bible that refer to the anti-christ rising up and restoring order out of financial and political chaos to the world.
Could we be on the brink of this?
Also the recent volcanoes and earthquakes add to this.

Absolutely we are on the brink.

Y'shua (Jesus) and several of the prophets are clear that the generation that sees Israel restored as a nation will witness the coming of Moshiach (Messiah). That happened in 1947 or 1968 (depending on how one understands "Zion"). The key is Jerusalem (Zion), which is why "Obama" is so determined to give East Jerusalem to Israel's enemies and assist in their destruction.

The precursor to the Mark is now being implanted in people the world over voluntarily.
The Christian faith has largely become lukewarm as foretold at Rev. 3:14-19. Most Christians do not even read the real Bible anymore but place their faith in paraphrases of completely different texts (like the NIV).

Everything is now in place for the rising of the Beast. There are no prophecies yet to be fulfilled before he rises. It could happen at any moment.

This is why the US is now being intentionally bankrupted so it can be merged with the Global Union headed by the EU, from which the Rex Mundi (or Antichrist) will soon arise. Key to this is the Bilderberg Group, the CFR and similar groups.

We may yet have a few years left before he rises but he could just as easily rise tonight in Greece as the answer man.

His appearance is imminent, whether its days or a few years.

Once Rex Mundi is in power and signs a peace treaty with Israel the final just shy of Seven Year Tribulation will begin followed by Armageddon.
