Question
Quentin
Here's a Bible question that possibly no one knows the answer to. Before Adam and Eve sinned did God intend to create any more people, or were they to be the only people that ever existed?
What do you think?
                         Thanks

Answer
Hi Bob,

Thank-you for your question.

When God created Adam and Eve he gave them a command (often called the “Dominion Mandate”), found in the very first chapter of Genesis (vs. 28), to “Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…” I think this makes it pretty clear that God intended for Adam and Eve to have many children and for their descendants to populate the earth.

Thanks again for your question. I hope you find this helpful.

God bless!
