Question
what do you understand by the verses in which why paul was talking about soldier, athlete and farmer in II Timothy 2:1-8

Answer
Hi,
If you read the verses, you will find the answer . Paul just used the example of a soldier, athlete and farmer. In order to be a good soldier, athlete or farmer you should please your commanding officer.. wich is JesusChrist. verse5: Similarity, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes acording to the rules.
When you want to teach someone about somethings, you should use things from life as an exasmple, thats the best way of teaching.
thank you.
