Question
Dear Dean,
Who is God according to you? Please I want reasonable answer not a brief one.

Answer
God is the creator of all things.  Since He is the author of things created, He has a right to have "author"ity over all things.

He created man as the highest of His creatures and created them in His image to have all of us  be in fellowship with Him.   He loved all things which He created and still has a love of them.

When man rejected God's authority (Adam and Eve)and tried to usurp His authority (as some of the angels had done) He immediately sought to redeem us to Himself again.  Since He is perfect of himself in all things, this meant that His perfect justice had to be fulfilled.  No man could be perfect again since all had corrupted the perfect image God had given them.

But His love is so great that He took on the same flesh and blood as man, came to earth and took the judgement of perfect justice ("The outcome of sin is death") on Himself(Jesus, the Christ).  Thereby the debt of justice was paid.  Further, in His love He gave us His righteousness again.

IN SUMMARY OF WHO GOD IS TO ME:

God is all favor and love to those who seek Him as the true creator and God over all things which He created. He has NO condemnation for those who are His children spiritually.  But for those who reject Him and therefore hate His children, He is a protecting parent to us.  A parent to allows and will allow His wrath to fall on those who hate Him and us.

This is what the whole of the Bible (His only written revelation of Himself) teaches.   And I continue to see that it is true as He truely guides me each day in having an abundant life while on earth.  He is my constant companion and lover of my soul even though I have no righteous of my own developement but do have the full righteousness given to me by His Son, my savior and lord.
