Question
I have been called by God to do something and i am not sure how to go about it. I am not a preacher nor do I claim to be. I am scared of doing the wrong thing. But everywhere I turn the message is there and crystal clear. But I am afraid. I have to take down a church of false prophet and several false prophets. I know the Bible tells me to expose them. But I am afraid that it will fall on deaf ears. I don't know what to do. I have been struggling for over a year with the right and just way to go about it. one preacher at this church uses the internet to commit adultery and the other preachers in this church when I went to them told me there were NO false prophets and the only abomination unto God was homosexuality. so they are covering for him. another was trying to pimp out his now ex-wife on the internet. for sex with other men. he is in prison for grand larceny but will be paroled soon. I have recently found Jesus and was Baptized. and being a new Cristian it feels like I am up against the world. But I can't ignore it. I shouldn't ignore it and i know that. God has called upon me to do something much more greater which i can't get into. But I know this is the beginning to what I have to do. I can't go to anyone for fear of being ridiculed. But I know I can't do this alone. and I know it is only the beginning. I'm scared and confused and I am seeking your council please help me for I feel I have nowhere else to turn.

Answer
If you have prayed and studied the Bible, God may be revealing this thing to you.  Before you take any action, you must know His Word and pray for God to support your action.

How do you know you are called by God to do this thing?  How do you know they are false prophets?  Can it be that they are true Christian believers who are caught in sin?  Are there any others in the church who know that what you have seen is happening?  Do they think this should be tolerated?  Is there anothe rchurch that you can attend if the leadership of this one is so corrupt?

These questions are for you to consider as you think about what you need to do.  Not being in the middle of the situation, I cannot provide the answers but you can.  Sometimes, it is best to leave if you can find another place for fellowship with true believers.  God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7-8) and will deal with the offender in His timing.

I'll be praying for you and for those who have gone astray.

Expertise

Using the Bible as my primary source and references in support of it, I am willing to answer questions on subjects from the Old and New Testaments. My faith is based on biblical Christianity and fundamental views from the Bible. I cannot answer questions about specific sects or religious organizations nor can I address religions outside biblical Christianity. As a Christian for nearly 40 years, I have studied many aspects of the Christian faith. My particular interests are in creation and the natural processes of the world around us and how they fit with the biblical record. I believe that all Scripture is inspired by God. I believe that there are no contradictions in the Bible and that the Bible is complete in telling us as individuals how we should relate to God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit; our purpose on earth; and how we should live. Greek lauguage study has helped me gain additional insight into the New Testament but most of my reference work is done in English and, to a lesser degree, German.

Experience

Personal Bible study over the years, lessons delivered in Sunday School settings and messages during organized services, and leading Bible study series have prepared me to be comfortable addressing questions from others.
