Hi Margaret,

I'm curious ... have you started your Bible reading from the beginning of Genesis as your reading plan for this year? I love the book of Genesis, as it contains such interesting information!

You asked, "Did God create another land called Nod?" No, everything was created in six days. (See Genesis 1 and 2.) Cain simply traveled to another region. Perhaps that region did not have a name at the time, but, by the time these things were written, it had been named, "Nod."

You also asked, "Where did Cain get his wife?" Since Adam and Eve were the parents of the entire human race, then one can logically deduce that Cain's wife had to be a daughter (or possibly granddaughter) of Adam and Eve. This would have made her Cain's sister or, perhaps, niece.
