Question
I am assisting my friend, Marelyn, with an Apologetics assignment due on the 29th of April. Her teacher assigned a group of three to prep a debate presentation in answer to the following questions:

1. Is the belief in God a reasonable statement?

2. How is belief in God different than belief in mythical creatures?

The questions are written just as the teacher presented them. I am more interested in your feedback on question '2'. Would you have any recommended websites, in addition to your personal answer?

Thanks,

Carlos

Answer
Ask your questions at the Regina Academy. Their spiritual director is great so maybe someone in their academic dept can assist:

Your questions are simple to those with the grace of Faith of course but if you are presenting the material to those who are non-believers, I can see where you'd need to be concise with your presentation and quite "logical".

Here are some sources I'm hoping can assist:

The writings from the Church Fathers in early Christianity are excellent sources which might be able to assist:

The Summa Theologica:

And if you want a more theological answer try asking your question on the ewtn.com board:

Let me know if you need more help with this. :)
