Question
You seem to focus on Acts 2:38 as the means to being saved through baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.  How are you going to reconcile Acts 2:38 and Matthews 28:19 which emphasizes baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of The Holy Spirit?

Answer
Hi! The two verses are not in disagreement. Are you saying that Acts 2:38 is wrong? Salvation is found in no other name under heaven (Jesus.) When I baptized my son, I did it in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Son=God. Father, Son, Holy Spirit=God. Take your pick! The important part here is that you are born of water and Spirit--that is the only way into heaven. (John 3:5)

If this answer is late I apologize--for some reason, I never got an email telling me it was out here. :s

Expertise

Do you know that unless you are born of water and Spirit you cannot get into heaven? Do you know that there is no passage in the Bible that asks you to "pray Jesus into your heart" to be saved? I have volunteered in the Jehovah`s Witness section for years (check my ratings out there), but feel it is time to branch out. Friendly discussions only! Be prepared to open your Bible!

Experience

My "expertise" if one could say that is mainly with Jehovah's Witnesses, Trinity, and the diety of Jesus. However, I am also a born-again Christian and dabble with the Greek langauge. Not an expert, but I look forward to going to heaven.
