Hello  Mrs. Lyons,
What are your feelings on reincarnation / past lives.
Could Jesus resurection be considered a reincarnation.

Are there any Biblical references to past lives or reincarnation.
I enjoy reading my NLT translation of the Bible because it is an
easier to understand Bible. My wife uses a KJV version since
childhood.
Can you direct me to any scripture that might relate to
reincarnation.
I have always speculated about the possibility of past lives /
reincarnation. Is there any validity or biblical truth to it.

Thanks !!!! for taking time to answer my questions. I know it is a
controversial subject.

I have my doubts that Jesus resurection could be considered a
form of reincarnation. His resurection was from divine
intervention " God " and the purpose is clear. To enlighten us
about eternal life through Jesus.

Dear Ron,
   Thank you for your kind rating.  I didn't explain that reincarnation into or from an animal life, or another human life, wouldn't express the value God places on each unique human life, nor would it fit "it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27  
   The difference between before Jesus paid for our sins and afterward, doesn't change the finality of our destination at the time of our physical death, so I shouldn't have brought that up.  I get so interested in Bible concepts, I sometimes get carried away.  
   Also, I wanted to tell you that I admire your interest in reading the Bible.  It really IS the key to understanding life and strengthening our trust in God.
