Does being born fatherless elevates one's status?
Answer -
Hello.  No, being born fatherless does not elevate one's status.  Now God speaks of taking care of the fatherless.

Psalms 10:14  Thou hast seen [it]; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite [it] with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

Psalms 68:5  A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, [is] God in his holy habitation.

The fatherless may be adopted.  Jesus Christ is The Son of God.  Joseph was not his biological father; he only raised him.  Here are some verses that prove that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God.

 John 3:10-21
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

And then there is John 5:17-28

17 ¶ But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

And there is John 9:35-38
35 ¶ Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

You should really read John chapter 9 If you do not have a Holy Bible, you can read it on the internet at www.blueletterbible.org

John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 11:4 When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 10:30 I and [my] Father are one.

Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and [he] to whomsoever the Son will reveal [him].

Others knew that Jesus Christ is the Son of God:

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Then, there is this set of verses:

John 8:48-59 48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
51 ¶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

The verse I am specifically referring to is verse 58, where Jesus Christ says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." You see, in Exodus 3:13-15, it says:

13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

God calls himself, I AM. Jesus Christ said, I am.

Here is a part of a note on John 8:58, that I got from the Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge, by Charles H. Spurgeon, I believe.

*I am.
That our Lord by this expression asserted his divinity and
eternal existence, as the great I AM, appears evident from the
use of the present tense, instead of the past tense, from its
being in answer to the Jews, who enquired whether he had seen
Abraham, and from its being thus understood by the multitude,
who were exasperated at it to such a degree that they took up
stones to stone him. The ancient Jews not only believed that
the Messiah was superior to and Lord of all the patriarchs,
and even of angels, but that his celestial nature existed with
God from whom it emanated, before the creation, and that the
creation was effected by his ministry.

#Ex 3:14 Isa 43:13 44:6,8 46:9 48:12 Re 1:8

So, yes, Jesus Christ is the only, begotten Son of God. People believed him at different times. How did they believe him? They trusted him as their Savior. This is called The Gospel. Here is The Gospel:

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

Thanks!
As per my understanding both Christians and Muslims believe that Jesus was born fatherless from a mother's womb, as all the humans are. And as stated by you that being born fatherless does not elevate one's status. The point I fail to grasp is, then what was God trying to prove by this fatherless birth?
Can we prove Jesus fatherless birth in the first place?
Regards.

Hello.  Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, could not be the biological, or natural son of a man.  The Old Testament lambs, etc., had to be spotless, and without blemish, as this would be a symbol of sin.  Jesus Christ is not a sinner, because he is God.  He is one of The Trinity.  Only God does not sin.  So Jesus could not be only a man.  He was God/man.  Why could he not be merely a man?

How can a sinful man Save himself?  It must take God, to Save man.  So God came.  Joseph was not Jesus' natural father.  God is.  God has no parents.  So Jesus Christ is of God, Himself.

I read several chapters that deal with Jesus Christ dying on the cross.  These are very informative, if a person studies them.  They are:  Romans chapter 5, Hebrews chapter 4, chapter 9, and chapter 10.  You should definitely read these.

Thank you for your question.  If you ever have any more, please ask.  Thanks.
