AnswerMikaela,
How could Jesus, the subject of both a divine will aned a human will, really be free, humanly- speaking?
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world unto himself,...
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH,...
John 1:14 And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, AND DWELT AMONG US, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Jesus Christ was God, the Word, in the flesh. Technically speaking, Jesus Christ was the body of flesh God put himself into.
Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but A BODY HAST THOU PREPARED ME:
That body of flesh was the sacrifice offered upon the cross for us all. With the putting on of the body of flesh God subjected himself to the same temptations, frailties, hungers, pains that we have to contend with.
Why did God become Human?
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels FOR THE SUFFERING OF DEATH, crowned with glory and honour; THAT HE BY THE GRACE OF GOD SHOULD TASTE DEATH FOR EVERY MAN.
Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then AS THE CHILDREN ARE PARTAKERS OF FLESH AND BLOOD, HE ALSO HIMSELF LIKEWISE TOOK PART OF THE SAME; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Name two incidents that seem to imply that jesus did not prophesy the events of his passion, death and resurrection with enormous clarity;
I am afraid I do not understand this question.
Hope this helps.
