Question
My question is  "When was Jesus Christ actually born"

Answer
Hi Shirley, Thank you for allowing me to answer such a timely question for you! The Bible tells us in Matthew 2:1  Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king... Historians can tell us the years of the reign of this Herod and if we overlay it, so to speak, on the events leading up to the Birth of Christ and the actual birth itself, we can determine that Christ was most likely born in the spring of AD 3. We know that it was springtime because of scripture telling us in Luk 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. This would not have been the case in the winter time. The date of December 25  was later chosen because those who were converted to Christianity were accustomed to a pagan festival called Saturnalia at that time of year.
I hope that this helps you. You have a very Merry CHRISTmas.  Bill
