-----Question-----
Q:- Father, son and holy ghost are three indivisuals 1+1+1=3
not 1. so what is the concept of god ?
-----Answer-----
The Biblical God is composed of three beings, all equal in power and authority, as you pointed out. They are all God and work together as one with their purpose being the same. However, the "Father" is the one that "was" in command until He turned all control over to Jesus who is to remain in command until the last judgement (an event that has actually already taken place according to the New Testament writers although no one would agree with me on this due to their being predisposed to believe contrary to what the scriptures actually say).
When you use the term "God" as it is used in the Bible, you are intended to mean "God" as a "team" that works together as if they were one and the same being. That is why the term is singular and not plural.
I hope this helps.

Hello Taimur,
Since the term "God" is applied to an entity that is virtually all powerful (I say "virtually" because there are things that God cannot do and still be God) and all knowing, everywhere present, etc., it would not be logical that one member of the "Godhead" to have created any of the members of it. Now, to speak of God as being in a particular place while not being in another particular place is just a matter of "convenience" when speaking about God. We call it an anthropomorphism. It is a language device that speaks of an entity that is so different that the only way that we can speak of it or understand it, although inaccurately, is to describe it as if it were human like in ways that we can understand. However, it is possible, according to what the writers of the Bible said, to accurately understand what God would like for humans to do in order to happily fit into the place in the creation of all things. According to the Bible, humans have been given a certain degree of freedom to either choose to obey God or not to obey God. When humans do not obey God it is called sin, a word that means to miss the goal of living according to God's designs, what we call nature. When we disobey God, our lives are less happy than they would have been if we had obeyed God. The result is "punishment" usually in the form of the "natural" consequences of our actions. When we experience unhappiness as the result of the actions of others, it is called the "suffering" of the innocent and other similar descriptions.
The Bible specifically says that God is spirit, a term that has unfortunately been associated with the term "ghost" as many humans use that term. The term "spirit" would better be thought of as "attitude" although it also includes the source of the "attitude." For this reason, a bad attitude can be thought of as being caused by "demons" (spirit entities created by God but that have chosen to rebel against God), and a good attitude can be thought of as being caused by a spirit from God. However, our human spirit can choose to allow us to be controlled by either of those kinds of spirits so that it is still our choice to obey or disobey God thus allowing God to be just in either condemning or rewarding us according to "our deeds," or actions that result from our attitudes, our the motives or reasons for our actions.
So, according to the writers of the Bible (people who claimed to have been inspired by God to speak and write the very ideas that God desires for us to understand and obey), all three members of "God" have existed from before anything was created, and by mutual consent one was chosen to be in "command" until it was time, according to God's original purpose, for another member to take "command" due to the nature of certain historical events and circumstances that God knew would take place and knows will take place in the future.
According to the Bible, none of the members of God were created and, properly speaking, God cannot be described as being in one place while not being in another. Only when a member of God took the form of a human, Jesus, could God be literally spoken of as being in one place and not in another at the same time. To speak of God as being in "Heaven" is really to say that his natural place of existence cannot be described by humans in a way that they could accurately comprehend. However, the "Father" is said to be in Heaven and Jesus is with him. The Holy Spirit (or a spirit with a special mission), on the other hand, is among humans to fulfil a purpose that was planned by God from before the creation.
I hope that this has been helpful. Please feel free to ask anything you like at any time. I will do my best to make the Bible clearly understood to you.
Sincerely,
Mr. McClellan

Hi Taimur,
In religion, the term "father" does not have to have anything to do with sex. It can simply be a reference to a male person in charge, or, in the case of God, it can refer to an entity with no human like sexuality characteristics that is in the highest position of authority and power. The term "father" is given to God because God was the source and power of creation similar to the way a human father is seen to be the source and power that causes the existence of children. It is simply a figurative way of speaking about God because of our limited means of understanding the actual nature of God.
I hope that this helps.
Sincerely,
Mr. McClellan

Answer
Hi T,
The terms Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not intended to refer to beings that are separated by age. They simply are intended to represent different aspects of the same being and different actions done by that being. I know that this concept is confusing to most people but it is just the way the ancient people in the area of the middle east were inspired to express such an idea about God. God is one and yet three at the same time. It really is simple once you correctly understand what the Bible is saying. You seem to be "fighting a straw man" as the saying goes. You're trying to argue against something that you do not yet understand because you think it is false. You are greatly mistaken.
Sincerely,
mr. mcclellan

Expertise

I can answer questions concerning Christian doctrine as well as other kinds of questions relating to religion. One important thing, among many, that needs clearing up is the meaning of religion. Religion is any system of belief that tries to explain how people should think and behave so that life is the best it can be. The definition found in the dictionary is seriously in error being based on popular but wrong ideas. Email me at and.the.truth.is@GMX.com for a free PDF 5 page introduction to my just completed book, "And The Truth Is?" It's uniquely different and interactive, designed to show you that you can actually know the way, the truth, and the life Jesus spoke of and what he expected people to do to participate in it as well as what to expect if they did.

Experience

My education puts me second to none in this area and I have had over forty years experience in the area of teaching Christian theology, doctrine, apologetics, hermeneutics, history, and philosophy. Publications: Among the things that I have written is a summary of the entire Bible that is intended to help people put it all together and quickly understand exactly what the writers of the Bible intended for everyone to understand. By reading it and then reading the Bible, the correct understanding should become quite clear and a sincere student will recognize that they have received an invaluable aid to knowing how to correctly interpret the Bible so that they can know, with certainty, that they are understanding it correctly. At the same time, they will be able to recognize the vast number of false doctirnes that are being called Christian doctrines but are only the teachings of men and have no more authority than any oridinary man can give them.

Organizations
I belong to no officially recognized organizations. I'm simply a person with a deep and lifelong desire to know the truth, a desire so strong that I have, for more than 50 years, poured myself and a lot of money into finding it and making sure of it. I believe that life is too short and valuable to waste it believing a lot of stuff that isn't true. Everyone can't be right and be in disagreement at the same time and the claims made by the writers of the Bible are simply too serious to guess about.

Publications
It's quite obvious that the Bible is not easy to comprehend thus all the divided opinions about what it teaches. I am finalizing a short treatise on the Bible that I believe will help a lot of people who seriously want to get a clear understanding of what the Bible actually has to say to everyone, a treatise that should take the mystery out of it and show that it really makes sense. People deserve help in recognizing the truth about what the Bible says because there is so much false teaching about it that is actually leading people away from God instead of to God. It should be ready to send out by the end of this year, 2011 or before. Now, you can purchase a PDF copy of my book "And The Truth Is?" on CD. It's very unique and it's interactive. If you're tired of living with a best guess and want to learn for certain what the truth is, this, the result of over 50 years of research and serious study, is what you're looking for.

Education/Credentials
I have two degrees in education, including religious belief systems. I also have many years of experience and many thousands of hours of study and research on which I've based my new book, "The Bible Actually Makes Sense."

Awards and Honors
All of my awards and honors are in the form of compliments from people who've read or listened to my attempts to help them understand what the Bible is about and how to comply with what it actually says. So many have said, in one way or another, that I helped them more than anyone they had ever met. It's comforting to know that my efforts to be of value to others is appreciated.
