Question
On 7/9/2006 you gave the original versions of the disciple's names but there was a variation between the two James, If it is the same name could you tell me why please ?

Answer
I don't recall the 7/9/2006 question or my answer.

BUT:   there are two named James as is seen in the following passage:

Matt 10:2-4

2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; JAMES THE SON OF ZEBEDEE, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; JAMES THE SON OF ALPHAEUS, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
(from New International Version)

Each one was of a different father.

Both names are the same in the Greek:  Iakoobos
