Bible Studies/Early Christians disagree in NT

Question
Jim, I recall reading in the NT that several of the apostles disagreed on some issues. I can't remember what the issues were or, more importantly, the book and chapter/verse numbers. It's not the 'Apollos' passage. Something else. I've searched the web but can't find it. If you could help me out on this that would be much appreciated.

Answer
There are a few controversies among the apostles in the New Testament.  The two most important are the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15 and the the dispute between Paul and Peter mentioned in Galatians 2:11-14.
The Council of Jerusalem decided whether to allow uncircumcised Gentiles to enter the church.  Peter was a major figure in this controversy with James leading the council.  The decision of the council was to allow gentiles and set aside circumcision.  However, some conditions remained, including abstaining from eating blood.  In Galatians the question was whether Jewish Christians should eat with non-Jewish Christians due to the issue over food.  Here Peter sides with the separatists, and Paul roundly rebukes him for it.
I think one of these is the one you are thinking of.  I hope you find this useful.
