Hopefully you can help me...I believe that sin is sin, while there are different repercussions here on earth, it's all the same to God...but what I'm really looking for is the verse that expressly states that all sin is equal in the eyes of the Lord. I can find verses that support that idea, but none that match my wording to a certain degree. If you can help, it would be a blessing.

1 John 5:17  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

Unrighteousness being defined as any acting in disaccord with divine direction : not free from guilt or sin.
