Question
Dear Pastor Carpenter,

In Genesis 3:22 GOD says that the man is becoming like us knowing both good and evil. My question is who is he referring to as "us" since there is only one GOD? I have heard he is talking to angels if this is true can you show me how to prove this point.
                           Thank you.

Answer
Hi Rich.

I believe that in this passage, in Genesis 1:26-27, and i Genesis 11 when God refers to Himself in the plural, it is an indication of the Trinity, one God - Three Persons.

1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769.

I hope that this helps.
