accordently with history of Israel, thats the name given to God for the jews people, this is a way to pray,  and respect, jew call God,, Elohim, (Dios), Adonai(Lord).
The word Jehova, it may come from the roots of HWH O HYH
means TO BE.
If you go the b ook of Exodus chapter 3 verse 14, you will read... GOD SAID TO MOSES.. 'I AM WHO I AM. THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE TO SAY TO THE ISRAELISTES; I AM HAS SENT ME TO YOU.
Jehovah is the name wich we know God, but. as you read in the bible, god have diferents name the you can call HIm.
It not matter how you call Him, it is the way you call Him.
you can call Him, FATHER, FRIEND, JEHOVAH,SHEPHERD, whatever
you feel in your heart., but remember if you call Him from the bottom of your heart He will attend your prays.
