Bible Studies/Grapes of Wrath Revelation 14

QuestionHi Patricia.
I have a question on Chapt 14 in revelation. It appears to show both a "rapture/reaping of the elect saints"[son of man on cloud] and then the Grapes of Wrath [Isaiah 5 and parable of the vineyard matt 21:33]. If this is the wrath of God being poured out, then what are the 2 endtime events of chapt 19 ["supper of the great God/Ezekiel 39 "sacrificial meal"?] and chapt 20 [armegeddon] showing? It almost appears to be 3 different "Days of the Lord" showing, though the Bible appears to show only One Great Day of the Lord. This is confusing me a little bit.
Also, it appears the 12 tribes in revelation has a prayer for all the Saints hidden in it. Dan is missing[and is referred to as "Judge" and is mentioned with Ephraim in Jeremiah 4:15] and the tribes aren't in order of their births, but random. This is a translation I come up with, but don't know if this is perfect or not.
"I will praise the Lord for He has looked on me and granted good fortune. Happy am I because my wrestling God is making me to forget. God hears me and is joined to me and purchased me a dwelling. God will add to me the Son of His right hand."
1. Judah = "I will praise the Lord" 2. Reuben = "He has looked on me" 3. Gad = "Granted good fortune" 4. Asher = "Happy am I" 5. Naphtali = "My wrestling" 6. Manasseh = "Making me to forget" 7. Simeon = "God hears me" 8. Levi = "Joined to me" 9. Issachar = "Purchased Me" 10. Zebulun = "Dwelling" 11. Joseph = "God will add to me" 12. Benjamin = "Son of His right hand"
Any views on this? Thanks you and God bless.
AnswerHi, Steve:
I believe that the Scriptures of Revelation chapter 14 reference the following events.
Revelation, chapter 14 -
Re.14:1-5 Provides information regarding the 144,000 redeemed from the earth at the Seventh TRUMPET (1 Thess.4:16-17) ascension.
Re.14:6-7 References the everlasting gospel that is to be preached after the ascension of the church.
Re.14:8 Declares Babylon is fallen. The fall of Babylon occurs after the ascension of the church.
Re.14:9-11 Provides information as to the fate of those who follow the beasts of Revelation chapter 13.
Re.14:12-13 References the saints who will face the tribulation under the beasts of Revelation chapter 13.
Re.14:14-16 References the Seventh Trumpet ascension.
Re.14:17-20 Speaks of the gathering of the wicked, those will fight the battle of Armageddon against the Lord of lords.
The battle of Armageddon -
The battle of Armageddon will occur after the fall of that great city Babylon (Revelation, chapter 18) and after the marriage of the Lamb has taken place in heaven (Revelation, chapter 19). The battle of Armageddon will be fought after the Seventh, and final, PLAGUE (Re.16:17-19). The end of the battle will mark the beginning of the Millennium.
The wrath of God is the Seven Last Plagues -
The wrath of God (Re.15:1, Re.15:6-8, Re.16:1) will occur after the entire body of Christ is in heaven.
The entire body of Christ throughout all ages will all be in heaven from the Seventh Trumpet ascension (1 Thess.4:16-17).
Directly after the ascension, the wrath of God will be poured out.
