A couple of weeks ago a co-worker and i were talking about how we were all a product of incest and i didnt understand so i submitted a question to a preacher on allexperts and he has never responded.....so I would like to ask you the same question."Back in the days of the Bible when did it become wrong for sexual relationships between brother/sister.....nephew/aunt that sort of thing to happen?

This question in outside the scope of my religious studies, but I will try to offer a view for your consideration (food for thought).

Adam begat sons and daughters through to the birth of Seth at Adam’s age of 130 years (Gen.5:3-4).

Cain slew Abel when they were adult men; at what age?  I haven’t found Scriptures that give that information.  But, let’s suppose that Cain and Abel were thirty-five or forty years old when that happened.  How many sons and daughters did Adam begat from Cain’s birth through to Seth's?  How many children could have been born and raised and married and they having children and their children having children before Cain was cast out and married?  How many generations of children were there that Cain could have married from perhaps a fourth or a fifth generation down the line?   At what point, with the many adult people on earth when Cain was cast out, does one consider marriage an act of incest?
