Question
I don't know if there can be an answer given on my question but it is worth thinking about.  In biblical days people lives to be quite old.  My question concerns this in my wanting to know has there ever been an explanation given or an attempt given to explain why people do not live much beyond 100 years old.  There must be a reason as to why God does not allow this today.  If you or anyone else can give a good explanation concerning this I sure will appreciate it.  Thank you so much.

Answer
Hi, everything happen in our life God has a reason forth. In Mathew 24:22...If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.... got it.... the reason is for the sake if the elect.. in others words, for His children... the christian people..
in Psalm 90:10... The lenght of our days is seventy years-or eighty, if we have the strengh, yet thir span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away...tachs us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom..
Thats why we must live one day an a time.
