Question
Mark 3: 29
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
Can you please explain this to me ?

Answer

Mar 3:29-30  But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:  (30)  BECAUSE THEY SAID, HE HATH AN UNCLEAN SPIRIT.

Joh 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME:

The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favorite passages to the exclusion of others. NOTHING LESS THAN A WHOLE BIBLE CAN MAKE A WHOLE CHRISTIAN.

A. W. Tozer ~ 1897-1963, American Preacher

Sydney,

This passage is one that must be understood in light of what the Bible teaches as a whole. That is that salvation is obtained at the dealing of the Spirit of God with a man concerning the truth of God's word and his Son Christ Jesus as saviour. To reject this is to call the Spirit of truth a liar. How can God forgive this sin? The miracles being performed in the passage were done so as a prove of the truth that Christ was preaching. They rejected the truth and excused it by saying Christ had an evil spirit.

I hope this helps.

The Bible contains an answer to all things necessary to life and salvation. We many times simple do not like the answer it gives. But, if your seeking the truth of God`s word, I can give my opinion and show from the Scriptures the basis for why I believe it is the correct interpretation of the Bible on most questions.
