About how old was Mary when she had Jesus?  Any background on Mary?

Answer
We have no specific information relating to the age of Mary.  Many scholars on the basis of Jewish customs of that time think that Mary would have been in the upper teens when Jesus was born.
The only contemporary documents with information on Mary are the gospels and the Acts.
