Question
Praise the Lord!!

My question(s) is simple in approach but has been quite complex to answer otherwise. Hopefully your answer, supported by real Biblical evidence, will clarify this subject for me.
Thank you.
Question: I know Jesus was resurrected in a "new type of body" and I believe that in the day of our own resurrection we'll possess similar bodies. However, what kind of body is it? Will it not have blood, as we do now? And if it is flesh, (Jesus told His disciples to touch and handle Him, proving that a spirit does not have flesh and bone[no mention of blood] as He did) is Jesus in that body now as He sits at the Father's right hand?
I hope this isn't too much to answer. Be Blessed!

Answer
Ron, simple question, tough to answer in detail.
I went the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  You can read the relevant paragraphs: 988-1019.  The website is:
www.nccbuscc.org/catechism/text/index.htm
The catechism gives biblical references as well as references to church writings.
We shall rise with own bodies but Christ will change our bodies to be like His glorious body, a spiritual body (paragraph 999).
Our own bodies would indicate the presence of flesh and blood, to use the biblical pair.
When you have checked the catechism and would like more, please write again.
Best wishes.
