Question
Basically, I would like to know who is he,Theophilus, what is he and where did he come from, that Luke choose to write him and greet him in the manner he did in The Acts and the book of Luke itself. General Bio if availible on Theophilus would be appreicated and any other revelent facts or points of references would be studied. Thank-you.

There is no information, to my knowledge, about the identy of this man. He must have been Greek, as his name implies, and he was a good friend of Luke. Beyond that, we haven't a clue. Thanks for asking. Let me know if there is anything else with which I can help you.
