Question
I recently read one of your answers to someone referring to man's made laws and God's laws. In your answer you some how got onto the subject of ALLAH. You said that Allah is not the same god that Christians worship, but a made up god. How do you explain then, as educated as you profess to be, when arabic speaking Christians also use the word Allah when speaking of their god? Is that also a different god?

Answer
Hello Shaba,
I want to add a little something to what I said in my first response to your question just for the sake of clarification on the subject of Islam, false teachers, and man made laws. Here is the situation; many "expert" and authoritative Islamic scholars and teachers say that Jesus was a true prophet but that Mohammad was the greatest prophet. Now, either Jesus was "the" prophet spoken of in the Old Testament that would bring the possibility of salvation to the world, or he lied. If he lied, then he was not a true prophet because true prophets do not lie and God would not have given them power to do real miracles so that people would be tricked into thinking that what they said was the truth. God does not lie nor deceive people and a true prophet will not lie either. If he did, then he would not be a "true" prophet. So, Islamic "scholars" are simply wrong and what they say is absurd. Also, if Mohammad was "the" true and greatest prophet, then all of Jesus' apostles were also liers and all of the truth was not revealed to them by God as they said that it had been. Since Mohammad contradicted virtually everything that Jesus and his apostles said and also added a lot to it, if they were correct and did not lie, then Mohammad lied and he was a false prophet. One of these people was a liar, or they were both liars because it is not  possible that both of them were telling the truth or else there would have been no need for the Quran. If what Jesus and his apostles said was true and that no one was to add to or change in any way what had already been said by them, not even an angel from heaven, then Mohammad was a great prophet alright, but he was one of the greatest false prophets in history since the numbers of Islamic people in the world numbers into the hundreds of millions and they are all doomed to everlasting punishment unless they reject Mohammad and put their trust in Jesus and obey his commandments. Mohammad is just one among the vast numbers of false Christs in the world and the religion that he invented is just another example of a large number of false teachings about God and what God requires of mankind. With this said, I must add that virtually everyone today who claims to be a Christian is following a false Christ with "his" own teachings that in very important ways contradict the teachings of the other false Christs as well as the true one. It seems that no one knows how to recognize what is actually true. In fact, many people, if not most people, have been convinced that the real truth, if there is one, cannot be known so that no one can actually know if he/she is actually obeying God or if they are obeying Satan. They've become their own gods deciding for themselves what is right and if God actually had anything to say, no one can recognize it with certainty. How stupid is the God that most people have put their faith in?
They simply cannot see the forest for the trees.
The original letter to you is below.

Thanks for asking. Your question indicates some very basic and fatal misconcepts and it is likely going to take a fairly lenghty letter to show you what they are so that you will be better able to recognize the mistakes you are making in your thinking about this topic. I will answer very briefly for now and explain in more detail at a later time.
Very simply, the answer to your question, "When arabic speaking Christians also use the word Allah when speaking of their god, is that also a different god?" is Yes.
(I changed the format of your question a little to get into one sentence.) Most, and I do mean MOST, people who claim to be Christins are actually following the teachings of one or more of a vast and increasing number of false Christs. They do not know how to tell the difference between the Christ spoken of in the Bible and any of the false Christs that have appeared since his time of which there is an uncountable and growing number. Jesus warned of this and his apostles spent a lot of effort warning early Christians not to let themselves be deceived by them but virtually no one today seems to be aware of them. Every person today who claims to be a Christian thinks that the teachings that they have believed and are trying to follow are the teachings of the biblical Jesus and his apostles who claimed to be speaking the very words of God. Jesus and his apostles clearly said that no one, not even an angel from heaven, was authorized to change in any way anything that they had already taught those earliest Christians because the whole counsel of God had been delivered to them and there was nothing else that God would be adding to what he had already said. Every Christian was to believe the very same things that had been taught by Jesus and his apostles and that had been proven true by the "real" miracles that they performed. They warned those Christians that teachers of false "Christian" teachings would try to fool them with false miracles to trick them into leaving the true teachings of Jesus and his apostles but many early Christians still fell victim to the teachings of false Christs. It is still happening but in far greater numbers.
Think about this. If two people disagree on something, it is not possible for both of them to be right. Either one is right and the other is wrong, or they are both wrong. But, there is no way for both of them to be right. So, when two people disagree about what the Bible writers taught, for example, God and his will for humans to have eternal life, at least one of them is wrong and possibly both. Then, if a person is wrong about what the Bible says it is not possible for him/her to be following the true teachings of those writers. They are following the teachings of a false Christ, one that has been invented in their mind and that they only "think" is the true Christ. They are seriously mistaken.
Now, the question that you really want to ask is, "How can a person know the true teachings of God so that they can know that they are not following false teachings?" That is what you really want to know and what you need to know.
I hope that this will help some for now. Think long and hard about this. It's the secret that few ever learn. As Jesus said, "The path to destruction is easy and most people go that way thinking that it is the right path, but the true path to life is difficult and only a few ever find it."
Sincerely,
Mr. McClellan

I can answer questions concerning Christian doctrine as well as other kinds of questions relating to religion. One important thing, among many, that needs clearing up is the meaning of religion. Religion is any system of belief that tries to explain how people should think and behave so that life is the best it can be. The definition found in the dictionary is seriously in error being based on popular but wrong ideas. Email me at and.the.truth.is@GMX.com for a free PDF 5 page introduction to my just completed book, "And The Truth Is?" It's uniquely different and interactive, designed to show you that you can actually know the way, the truth, and the life Jesus spoke of and what he expected people to do to participate in it as well as what to expect if they did.

Experience

My education puts me second to none in this area and I have had over forty years experience in the area of teaching Christian theology, doctrine, apologetics, hermeneutics, history, and philosophy. Publications: Among the things that I have written is a summary of the entire Bible that is intended to help people put it all together and quickly understand exactly what the writers of the Bible intended for everyone to understand. By reading it and then reading the Bible, the correct understanding should become quite clear and a sincere student will recognize that they have received an invaluable aid to knowing how to correctly interpret the Bible so that they can know, with certainty, that they are understanding it correctly. At the same time, they will be able to recognize the vast number of false doctirnes that are being called Christian doctrines but are only the teachings of men and have no more authority than any oridinary man can give them.

Organizations
I belong to no officially recognized organizations. I'm simply a person with a deep and lifelong desire to know the truth, a desire so strong that I have, for more than 50 years, poured myself and a lot of money into finding it and making sure of it. I believe that life is too short and valuable to waste it believing a lot of stuff that isn't true. Everyone can't be right and be in disagreement at the same time and the claims made by the writers of the Bible are simply too serious to guess about.

Publications
It's quite obvious that the Bible is not easy to comprehend thus all the divided opinions about what it teaches. I am finalizing a short treatise on the Bible that I believe will help a lot of people who seriously want to get a clear understanding of what the Bible actually has to say to everyone, a treatise that should take the mystery out of it and show that it really makes sense. People deserve help in recognizing the truth about what the Bible says because there is so much false teaching about it that is actually leading people away from God instead of to God. It should be ready to send out by the end of this year, 2011 or before. Now, you can purchase a PDF copy of my book "And The Truth Is?" on CD. It's very unique and it's interactive. If you're tired of living with a best guess and want to learn for certain what the truth is, this, the result of over 50 years of research and serious study, is what you're looking for.

Education/Credentials
I have two degrees in education, including religious belief systems. I also have many years of experience and many thousands of hours of study and research on which I've based my new book, "The Bible Actually Makes Sense."

Awards and Honors
All of my awards and honors are in the form of compliments from people who've read or listened to my attempts to help them understand what the Bible is about and how to comply with what it actually says. So many have said, in one way or another, that I helped them more than anyone they had ever met. It's comforting to know that my efforts to be of value to others is appreciated.
