Question
what does it means to be like christ

Answer
Dear Mary,

I believe that to be like Christ means to walk in His nature and in His ministry ways. Christ-likeness can only come by being born again. Taking on the nature of Christ. Taking on His ministry ways...ie to heal and do miracles etc, is also asked of us and for this we need the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Trying to emulate Christ by cutting things out of our lives does not necessarily make us Christ-like. But often just makes us embittered and hardened people suppressing their nature. No we have to take on the nature of Christ in order to be really Christ like.
