what makes you to belive their is God in the first chapter in the bible.what will you write if you were asked these question by an unbelievers.

Hi Moorin,

Thanks for this great question.  The Bible assumes the existence of God as do I.  I believe in God, specifically the God of the Bible because it makes the most sense, explaining all of nature that I have seen.  I believe in God for the following reasons ( I will be very simple and brief)

1.  Creation.  Everything points to an intelligent design and therefore and intelligent designer.

Romans 1:20
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

2.  Man's innate knowledge of right and wrong, and tendance toward worship of some kind of a God.  I believe that this is part of man's programing because he was made in the image of God.

Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

3.  The Bible stands as a supernatural witness to the revelation of God.

Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Here is a document written over a period of 1600 years with at least 40 different authors and it is historically and scientifically accurate... unified in its message.
