Question
i bought a book at a yard sale it is a synthetic bible studies by james m gray d.d. .the copyright is dated 1906. i was wanting to know if it was worth anything.

Answer
Dear Tara,

I, personally, have never heard of the man. However, the only way to tell if anyone is worth anything is to know your Bible. You can not understand God's word until you know it, that is what it says from cover to cover. Then some one can help you put the pieces together if needed. I recommend reading the Bible through at least two or three times before reaching for others to aid you. It does not take that long to do so.

Now most people, I realize, will not do so. All one can say to that is that you get out what you put in. It is my sole purpose in life to help others correctly understand God's word and hopefully act on it accordingly. It is us, the individual Christians that are failing the world and giving away the battle for the souls of men. We need to fear God ourselves and live righteously, holy and godly.

I hope he is worth something, there is information on the Internet concerning him if you do a search under his name.

I would like to recommend my site as well, A Fellowship In Christ Jesus, www.aficj.org. I am just getting some things up and I hope it will be worth something to those seeking to understand and to know the Bible also.

The Bible contains an answer to all things necessary to life and salvation. We many times simple do not like the answer it gives. But, if your seeking the truth of God`s word, I can give my opinion and show from the Scriptures the basis for why I believe it is the correct interpretation of the Bible on most questions.
