Question
Hello,
I've always been interested in the bible and the stories in it. Unfortuneatly I find it too boring to sit down and read (I've tried). I was wondering if there's something out there that's like cliff's notes for the bible? Thanks.

Answer
Although I'm not familiar with cliff's notes, there are many ways to solve your problem. You can get a more modern version of the Bible, such as the NIV, or Good News Bible. They are much easier to read, as they are translated into modern English.

Read the gospels, the books of Genesis, Ruth, and Esther. There are many more Bible stories scattered through the books of 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings, as well as in other places in the Bible—but you will have to look a little harder for them.

If you like to read Bible stories that reveal what it was like to live in Bible times, etc., I have written several. You can read them free on my web site www.PettyPress.com/books
