-----Question-----
i am having trouble dealling with my husbend death i hope you could help me is he in heaven now  with his loveones is he watching over me i need to know thankyou
-----Answer-----
I am sorry, Margaret, to learn of the death of your husband and of your difficulty in dealing with his eternal destiny.
The New Testament teaches that God wants all persons to be saved [the eternal happpiness of heaven] but that each person has the responsibility to choose his own destiny -- whether to love or to reject God. God is the one who judges and knows the destiny of the deceased.
While I cannot tell you the destiny of your husband, God certainly cares for you.
I am sorry for not being able to offer more.  If you wish to ask about something that I have said, please feel free to write again.
I pray to God that you receive the grace and the courage that you need.

Answer
God judges our worthiness to enter into eternal happiness.
The gospel of John relates that Jesus is the vine and we, his folowers, are the branches.  Paul, who says that we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling, says that Jesus is the head and we are the body.
So, the faithful followers of Jesus are joined in a spiritual and mystical union.
Please alllow me to tell you of Catholic development of these biblical ideas.  The living and those who have not died outside the grace of God, are united.  Hence, Catholics pray that these chosen souls interecede with God for those on earth so that we here might receive an abundance of God's grace.
I hope that these further thoughts will help.
Again, as always, if your wish further clarification of my remarks, please feel free to write again.
Best wishes, Margaret.
