Question
After suffering from panic/anxiety I have been looking at god more for answers. scince reading the bible I Came across the unforgiveable sin blssphmy of the lord.  I used to take his name in vain all the time until I read that.  I was wondering since that is and unforgiveable sin will god still accept me in to his kingdom?  I ask him to forgive me all the time. I also am trying to grow stronger spiritualy is it a process that takes time?  I am starting to relize the importance of loving god and walking with him every day, but still have bad habits i need to control. god bless

Answer
Dear Andy,

Excellent question. There is a lot of mis-understanding concerning this unforgivable sin. I can only give you my studied opinion, no more or less than what anyone else can give you.

It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to deal with the hearts of men and convict of sin and the need of salvation. To lead men to Christ. To reject this ministering naturally is to reject the testimony of the Spirit and the saving power of Christ Jesus. This is the unforgivable sin.

If it is anything otherwise, all men would be guilty of the unforgivable sin and damned. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

My website is kind of a mess at the moment, but I would surely appreciate it if you kept an eye on it and hopefully I will have some things there to aid you in your studies.

Hope this helps.

The Bible contains an answer to all things necessary to life and salvation. We many times simple do not like the answer it gives. But, if your seeking the truth of God`s word, I can give my opinion and show from the Scriptures the basis for why I believe it is the correct interpretation of the Bible on most questions.
