Question
Why are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John practically the same story told over and over again?

Answer

Dear Ron,

The four gospels relate Christ earthly ministry from four different perspectives giving us a full picture of the totality of God's purpose, plan and form of our Lord and Saviour.

Matthew present the Lord as King, the heir of Abraham &
    David

Luke as man, the son of Adam

    Mark as a servant

    John as God

The book of Revelations is also divide into four parts. As you read it you will see the return of the lord ending each.

I hope this helps.
