Hi there i think you may be able to help me.I was wondering where in the bible it mentions or even strongly suggest revived rome.I can see that the E U seems to bbe fulfilling the propheceys in the book of revalation and daniel.In the gbook of daniel i understand that babaylon was to come medo persia  grece and the rome.And that the antichrist was to come from the people who desercrateted the jewish temple .But where does it say that say that revived rome will come and what scriptures prove that the little horn is going to be that anti christ.may the Lord bless you and thank you so much .All thae best simon m.

I am not familiar with the term a "revived Rome".  Would you provide specific Scriptures you are referring to.

Perhaps the Bible study below will clarify your question regarding the "little horn" of Daniel.  I would suggest that you print this study out, and in conjunction with your Bible, study those Scriptures presented, as well as those Scriptures that are referenced but are not included in the study.


The Little Horn of Daniel is the Beast of Revelation 13:11
and is the scarlet-colored Beast of Revelation 17 -

Let ‘s look at what "the little horn" of Daniel, who is the beast of Revelation 13:11, who is the scarlet colored beast of Revelation chapter 17, who is the false prophet, will accomplish -

1. Of the ten horns/kings of the fourth beast, he will subdue three (Dan.7:24 below).

2. He will wear out the saints of the most High, and the saints will be given into his hand for 3 ½ years (Dan.7:25 below); he will destroy the mighty and the holy people. (Dan.8:24 below)

3. He will occupy the Pleasant Land (Jerusalem) (Dan.8:9 below), sitting in the temple of God showing himself that he is God (2 Thess.2:4 below)

4. He will take away the daily sacrifice, and by him the place of the prince of the host's sanctuary will be cast down (Dan.8:11 below).

5. He will have Satanic power (Re.13:12 below), as does the first beast (Re.13:2).

6. He will honor a god whom his fathers knew not (Dan.11:38 below).

7. He will cause that no one will be able to buy or sell without having the mark, the name, or the number of the first beast. of Revelation 13.  And he causes that anyone who does not worship the image of the first beast, that they should be killed (Re.13:15 below)

8. He, too, comes out of the bottomless pit (Re.17:8 below), as does Satan, and as do the four beasts of Daniel chapter 7.

9. The little horn not honor the God of his fathers (Dan.11:37 below).

10. His god will be a god of forces, the great city Babylon, and he will deck her with gold and precious stones and pearls (Dan.11:38, Re.17:4-5 below).

11. He will magnify himself in his heart (Dan.8:25, Dan.11:36-37, 2 Thess.2:4 below)


The Little Horn of Daniel 7, 8, 11 -

Dan.7:20   And of the ten horns (kings - Dan.7:24 below) that were in his (the fourth beast's, Dan.7:7) head and of the OTHER (little horn/king) which came up, and before whom three (horns/kings) fell (Dan.7:24 below); even of that horn (king) that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things (Dan.7:8), whose look was more stout than his fellows.

Dan.7:24   And the ten horns out of this (fourth) KINGDOM are TEN KINGS that shall arise: and ANOTHER (king/little horn) shall rise AFTER them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and HE SHALL SUBDUE THREE KINGS (horns - Dan.7:8, Dan.7:20 above).

Dan.7:25   And he (the little horn/king - Dan.7:8, Dan.7:24 above) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High (Re.15:3), and think to change times and laws (Re.13:15 below, Dan.11:31): and they (the saints) shall be given into his hand until A TIME and TIMES and THE DIVIDING OF TIME.  (3 ½ years/1260 days)


Dan.8:9          And OUT OF ONE OF THEM (the fourth kingdom - Dan.7:7, Dan.7:23) CAME FORTH A LITTLE HORN (Dan.7:8), which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the PLEASANT LAND.   (Jerusalem, the faithful city - Isa.1:21).  

Dan.8:11   Yea, he (the little horn - Dan.8:9 below, Dan.7:8) magnified HIMSELF (Dan.8:25, Dan.11:36-38, 2 Thess.2:4 below) even to the prince of the host (Dan.8:13), and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away (Dan.9:27), and the PLACE of his (the prince of the host's) sanctuary was cast down (Dan.8:13, Dan.11:31).  

Dan.8:22   Now that being broken, whereas four (horns/kings) stood up for it, FOUR KINGDOMS shall stand up out of the nation (singular), but not in his power.

Dan.8:23   And IN THE LATTER TIME OF THEIR (plural) KINGDOM (singular), WHEN THE TRANSGRESSORS (the four beasts/kings - Dan.7:3, Dan.7:17) ARE COME TO THE FULL, A KING (the little horn - Dan.7:8, false prophet, Dan.11:36-37, 2 Thess.2:4 below) of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up (Re.13:11 below).

Dan.8:24   And his (the king's - Dan.8:23/little horn's, Dan.8:9, Dan.7:24) power shall be mighty, but not by his own power (but Satan's - Re.13:11-12 below): and he shall destroy wonderfully (Re.13:15 below), and shall prosper, and practice, and SHALL DESTROY THE MIGHTY AND THE HOLY PEOPLE (Dan.12:7, Col.1:22, Eph.1:4).   

Dan.8:25   And through his policy also he (the king - Dan.8:23 above) shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and HE SHALL MAGNIFY HIMSELF IN HIS HEART (Dan.8:11 above, Dan.11:36-37, 2 Thess.2:4 below), and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes (Re.19:19, Dan.12:1); but he shall be broken without hand (Re.19:15).
 

Dan.11:36   And the king (Dan.7:8, Dan.7:24 above) shall do according to his will; and HE SHALL EXALT HIMSELF, AND MAGNIFY HIMSELF above every god (Dan.8:11 above, 2 Thess.2:4 below), and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and SHALL PROSPER TILL THE INDIGNATION BE ACCOMPLISHED: for that that is determined SHALL BE DONE (Dan.7:21, Dan.7:25 above).

Dan.11:37   Neither shall he (the king) regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: FOR HE SHALL MAGNIFY HIMSELF ABOVE ALL (Dan.11:36 above, 2 Thess.2:4 below).

2 Thess.2:4   Who opposeth and exalteth HIMSELF above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (Re.11:1), shewing HIMSELF that he is God (Dan.11:36-37 above).  

Dan.11:38   But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces (Dan.11:31): and a god whom his fathers knew not (Dan.11:37 above) SHALL HE HONOUR WITH GOLD, AND SILVER, AND WITH PRECIOUS STONES, AND PLEASANT THINGS (Re.17:4).


The Little Horn of Daniel is the "ANOTHER" beast of Revelation 13:11 -

Re.13:11   And I beheld ANOTHER beast coming up OUT OF THE EARTH (Dan.7:17, Re.11:7); and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Re.13:12   And he exerciseth ALL the (Satanic) power of the first beast before him (Re.13:1-2), and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein TO WORSHIP THE FIRST BEAST (Re.13:8), whose deadly wound was healed (Re.13:3, Re.13:14).

Re.13:13   And he (another beast coming up out of the earth - Re.13:11) doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men (Re.17:8).

Re.13:14   And DECEIVETH THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH by the means of those miracles which HE HAD POWER TO DO IN THE SIGHT OF THE BEAST (Re.13:1-2,  2 Thess.2:9,  Re.19:20); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, WHICH HAD THE WOUND BY A SWORD, and did live (Re.13:12 above).

Re.13:15   And he (another beast coming up out of the earth - Re.13:11 above) had power to give life unto the IMAGE of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as WOULD NOT WORSHIP the IMAGE of the beast SHOULD BE KILLED (Re.11:7, Re.12:17, Dan.8:24 above, Dan.12:6-7, Dan.7:21, Dan.7:25 above, Re.13:7, Re.16:6).

Re.13:16   And he (another beast coming up out of the earth - Re.13:11 above) causeth ALL both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a MARK (Re.13:17 below), in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Re.13:17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had (1) the MARK, or (2) the NAME of the beast, or (3) the NUMBER of his name (Re.13:18, Re.15:2).

The Little Horn of Daniel is the "ANOTHER" Beast of Revelation 13:11 and is the Scarlet Colored Beast of Revelation chapter 17 -

Re.17:3   So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads (mountains - Re.17:9, Ps.104:6) and ten horns (kings - Re.17:12).

The seven heads (Re.17:3 above), which are seven mountains (Re.17:9), are the seven continents of the earth, Daniel 7:23.   Waters surround the continents of Peoples, Multitudes, Nations, and Tongues (Re.17:15, Re.13:7).

Re.17:4   And the woman (Babylon - Re.17:5 below) was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and DECKED WITH GOLD AND PRECIOUS STONES AND PEARLS (Dan.11:38 above, Re.18:16), having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Re.17:5   And upon her (Re.17:3) forehead was a name written, MYSTERY (Re.11:8, Re.22:3), BABYLON THE GREAT (Re.18:10, Re.18:18), THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Re.17:8   The (scarlet coloured) beast that thou sawest was, and is not (Re.17:11); and SHALL ASCEND OUT OF THE BOTTOMLESS PIT (Re.11:7), and GO INTO PERDITION (Re.19:20): and THEY THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH SHALL WONDER (Re.13:13-24), WHOSE NAMES WERE NOT WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD (Re.13:8, Re.20:12), when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
