Not sure if the scripture is in the Bible or if it is just a saying.  I'm looking for a scripture with reference to "for this to shall pass"  I would be thankful for any help.

I think the verses you want are:

Mat 7:28  And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at
his doctrine:

Mat 11:1  And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples,

Others: Mark 2:23; 4:4; Luke 1:8, 23, 41, 59; 2:1, 15, 26, 46; 5:1, 12, 17; 6:1, 6, 12; 7:11; 8:1,
40; 9:18, 28, 33, 37, 51, 57; 11:1 . . . etc., etc., etc.

These only appear in the KJV. I suspect that it was an expression used frequently in the common
language of the day. Compare some of these with like passages in other translations in order to
get other glimpses of how these can be used.

The phrase “and it came to pass” can be good advice for people who are suffering or are on the
top of the mountain of pleasure. It can be either comfort or pointed reality, depending on the
circumstances.
