Question
hello
1) why there are so many versons of bible available today there is only one given to jesus?
2)the language in which bible was reveled i think it no longer exests then bible is not in its pure form then why are u following the bible ?
3)why are u not following islam what do u think is wrong in islam?

Answer
I have spent many years (seven) at a university and at a seminary studying the language of the New Testament.  That language was Greek.  I studied Ancient Greek, Classical Greek and the Koine Greek, which was the one that God had the writers use. I still study and read the Bible in that language to make sure of what God has said to us through His inspired word.

Like most ancient languages, Greek has continued to evolve so that today the people of Greece speak "modern" Greek but it is based on the same language used to write the New Testament.

The Bible was not "given" to Jesus Christ.  He, with the Father and the Son are the authors of the Bible to reveal the love of God to the world and His plan of salvation that all might have eternal life freely as a gift from God.  All people's are sinners. You and I are  not perfect and cannot perfectly keep the Law of God given through Moses . This promise of salvation came through the blood of Jesus Christ is for you too.

Since I have been made a child of God by God's spirit, I do not need to follow islam.  I am not even under Jewish law, but am an adopted son of God.  I look forward to being with God eternally and am postitive that this will take place since God has called me by His Word and given me His promise of eternal life with Him.

He has shown me His presence in my life by answered prayer, guidance and His acts of love to me.  I know that His word is true and His promises to me will be kept.
