Bible Studies/unclean places
Expert: Rev Philip Dacre - 5/14/2004
QuestionDear Rev. Dacre,
Thank you for your reply.
Further to what you've mentioned, how do we chase the evil spirits away in Jesus' name? Should we pray to Jesus directly for protection and power? Or rebuke directly at the spirits, and in what words?
How can a person hurt, and what do you mean by convinced authority? Will the spirits question the person?
Thank you.
God bless,
Enoch

Question -
Dear Rev. Dacre,
If a person comes to a place (e.g. house or hotel room) and feels that it is "unclean" (or what most people would call "haunted"), what can he/she do to have rest and peace in that place? (Assuming that he/she is an evangelical Christian.)
Worst, if he/she encounters strange happenings in that place, what can he/she do to be protected from the unknown forces?
Thank you.
Regards,
Enoch

Dear Enoch
Yes I have had experienced this before. It is the name of Jesus that you use to chase out evil spirit. But you have to do it with convinced authority otherwise the spirit can hurt.
Mark 16:15-18
Be sure, be secure and convinced that what Jesus said is true. Luke 10:19,20 Whether you are believer or not. Jesus did not lie.

AnswerEnoch you have to go to where they are and speak to them with authority telling them to leave in Jesus name. However if you are unsure be careful because they can hit back. They are violent and murderous even. All evil spirits are. REad the bible Enoch or otherwise do not attempt anything for they are stronger than human beings.
