Question
I am fairly familiar with the gospels, the word of God, I was wondering, what support is there for a female preacher? I understand the fundementals of a Godly marriage and a Godly church, where primarily, men are the spiritual head- Christ as example is the head of the church and so men are the head of the marriage, I also understand this isn't to mean that women are inferior in the context of underserving of love and grace, and also understand god is giving, now in the last days, gifts of the spirit to both women and men, but how is it to be used for a woman who is inspired, in the context of the confinements of the church?

Answer
My wife is an anointed preacher. First of all, we have to define – what is a preacher? In the strictest sense – it is a person that delivers a sermon. But it also is a person that to urges acceptance or abandonment of an idea or course of action.

Now anyone that is filled with the Holy Ghost, is a minister of the Word. Are they all preachers – most definitely.  They all urge acceptance of Jesus Christ and urge abandonment of bad courses of action.

I feel as long as a woman in the position of being a preacher does not preach the ‘elevation’ of a woman over a man, then I do not see any wrong with a woman calling herself a preacher. But if she uses that office to belittle someone, i.e., a man, then she is out of the will of God.
