Question
i have a beautiful 6 month old girl bichon called daisy  but as we are out at work all day im anxious that my puppy is lonely, my partner goes home during the day to let her out and i do get a family member to baby sit a couple of time a week, im absolutely bowled over by this little dog and the breed and would like to get another girl puppy for company for daisy, i would hate daisy to be jealous but would love her to have a little friend for when we are not there. how do you think 2 females would get on as possibly daisy would be the alfa female being the older one. any suggestions or advice please

there will always be issues about hieracrchy when two or more dogs exist in any social pack, that will also include you. However they are overcome easily providing you donot interfere too much. I am still a little concerned that this dog isnt being stimulated enough throughout the day when you are at work. This breed does suffer from lack of human interaction even with another dog.Can you not take her to a doggy creche asthis will allow her to interact and have the social skills necessary for a long happy life.
