Bichon Frise/skin itching and scabs

Question
the weather in florida went from humid and real warm to somewhat cold and dry , since then my bichon is itching and making scabs do you think its the weather or might it be something else.  I did not change is food.

Humidity is usually good for coats and skin of these dogs. I suggest the food or shampoo may be the problem. Switch to a quality raw diet (BARF) such as the honest kitchen or bravo foods and wash in neem oil shampoo , available from www.bichonhotel.co.uk

You may also see if the dog has fleas or whether irritants such as air freshner or female perfumes.
