Question
Hi, At what age do you recommend taking our 11 week old Bichon to have her first haircut? We brush her daily, so its in good condition, but it is quite long and it hasn't began to curl up at the root yet. Do you think we should hang on until the warmer weather starts or get it done sooner?

although it is cold I would start at 16 weeks, they nails can then be cut so no damage occurs, befoe that they have a tendency to split.
Ask for a puppy cut (Not a poodle cut)
we do have on our site a full instruction pictorial on how to do it yourseelf, it helps you t bond with your dog aat a totally different level.
