Question i have read everything i can about potty training and i am trying my hardest but no luck. i have a 10 month old female and she is wonderful. playful, loving, itneracts well with the family and loves to be with us. my problem is potty training. she does not bark so i have to really watch her - she will jump up on me sometimes to let me know she has to go. i am trying to get her to do her business in the same spot or on a wee wee pad on the deck outside. but she wont go near a wee wee pad! she walks in circles when she does a bm and it goes all over. i know accidents will happen but is there something i can do to get her to do it on the wee wee pad?
Answer you must crate train this dog, it teaches them control and management of the bladder and bowels.
at ten months her hormones are changing and she is at odds with all what life has to offer.
Praise and patience is what its all about. Whatever you must not do is to shout as this will simply reinforce the bad behaviour.
