We have a 10 week old male Bichon.  He is a dream--a little psycho sometimes, but I assume that it's a puppy thing.  Anyway, he was doing great with the crate when we went away for a little while.  However, last night when we left him--for 2 hourse--he was soaking wet on his underside (belly, face, legs).  It had no odor (urine/vomit).  I bathed him and he was normal.  The same thing happened today--only worse.  What is going on??

Yes you are correct , this is separation anxiety. Its easy to combat but needs you to remain steadfast and in control at all times.

Go back to basic crate training, building up the length of time he is inside and relax and try not to show the little one that this concerns you, he will pick up on it and hey presto he will too become anxious.

PS also try DAP spray 15 mins before he goes into crate onto his bedding, also try some lavender oil (few drops) onto bedding and he will be fine.
