Cindy
I was told not to give my 10 week old bichon pup any toys, only a blanket.  She has to get two more sets of shots within the next two weeks.  Is it true that I shouldnt give her toys?  Can I bathe her?

Answer
I think anyone giving such poor advice needs to understand how a dogs mind works. You should be socialising her now and that includes playing with toys, people and other safe pets and environments.
Bathing yes of course but be careful that the water is the right temperature and that you place cotton wool inside her ears to avoid them becoming saturated.
