Question
I have a Bischon frise poodle who is 3 years old and is housebroken and has a doogie door to go outside anytime she wants to, but she is constantly peeing on my carpet or rugs.  We have replaced all the rugs several times but she continues to pee on my living room rug and bedroom carpet.

Answer
Use a good disinfectant that has no ammonia in to get rid of the smell which will attract her to the area.
She is being a female dog that wants to protect you her pack, please whatever you do DO NOT shouat at her or rub her nose in it,you must try to understand why she does it, a dog doesnt look at peeing and pooping as a dirty issue its simply a boundary and protection issue.

Just every couple of hours take her ouitside physically . In many ways a dog flap stops the interaction and leadership a dog needs and some dogs become lazy when using them.

Check she is not doing this due to cystitis or imflammation around her vulva ie she is starting her heat season.
If she is on an all dry diet please have at least two days in the week when this is not used and have fresh foods on those days, such as lamb, pork meaty bones, apple, cucumber etc.
