Bichon Frise/bichon staining around inside legs and belly

Our bichon Monti,(9 years old ) has brown staining around his belly and the inside of his back legs, it looks rather dirty, we wash him every 2-3 weeks, this is not getting it off. Could you tell me what the causing this problem.

Hi there , this staining is brought on by licking, so I suggest that you watch what you feed the little guy as he is likely to have an intolerance which is NOT the same as an allergy.

You can use apple cider vinegar in his water, just a few drop should alter the acidity in his saliva, or give him 1/2 settlers tums daily, this will also do it.

I do suggest that you buy neem oil shampoo from www.bichonhotel.co.uk and buy the conditioner with that, this will control the reasons why he is licking.
