Question
I have a 6 month old bichon-poo.Ziggy wakes up between 4-6am.I take him out he pees and poohs. Then i feed him his breakfast around 7 he does'nt pooh.He pees every 2-3 hours and sometimes inbetween.I feed him dinner around 430 pm and he poohs between 430-10pm.Hard to get a schedule and i take him out every 2-3 hours any ideas.Thank You.

Answer
after waking allow him to do toilet outside then bring back indoors, do not feed him until say 10am, then immediaely go outdoors until he has eliminated. DONT bring back indoors until you know he has done it, if it takes 1 hour so be it, he can play, this is all about maintaining a good routine.

At 6 months depending on his size feed him again at 5pm then once again outside until he has done the toilet, NO MORE food till next day.

NO Water after 8pm either, he doesnt need it.

His crate should be closed off on 3 sides to make it more den like, this will also help.
